Itinerary

Day 01 Cusco

AM Arrive in Cusco*. Transfer to the hotel of your choice**.
PM Guided city tour in the afternoon: the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Santo Domingo Church/Koricancha temple, and four surrounding archaeological sites (Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay).
Overnight at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 02 Cusco-Sacred Valley-Machu Picchu

Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
AM Sacred Valley Day Tour: Pisac village and artisans marketplace***, Ollantaytambo Inka town and its impressive archaeological site.
PM Buffet lunch in a Sacred Valley restaurant.
PM Transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station where you will board the Expedition train or similar**** to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).
The train ride takes approximately 90 minutes.
PM Meet and greet at the Aguas Calientes train station where assistance will be provided to reach the hotel of your choice**.
Overnight at the hotel in Agua Calientes.

Day 03 Machu Picchu-Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.
AM Receive assistance to board the shuttle bus to the Machu Picchu Inka citadel atop Machu Picchu Mountain (Old Mountain).
AM Enjoy a two-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu Citadel, followed by free time for photography before returning to Aguas Calientes by shuttle bus.
Indulge in a buffet lunch at a fine restaurant in Aguas Calientes.
PM Take the train from Aguas Calientes to Poroy station, then transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
Overnight at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 04 Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel in Cusco.
AM Transfer to the Cusco airport at the most convenient time to board the scheduled flight*.
