Day 01 Cusco-Sacred Valley

  • AM Arrive in Cusco*. Transfer to the hotel of your choice in the Sacred Valley of the Inkas**.

  • En route to the Sacred Valley, visit Chinchero, an Andean town known as the birthplace of the rainbow. Marvel at the blend of Inka ruins and Spanish-colonial structures, including the charming church. Enjoy stunning mountain views and explore the vibrant Sunday market where artisans sell their colorful goods. The locals are identifiable by their red and black woolen garments.

  • PM After hotel check-in, enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

Day 02 Sacred Valley

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Sacred Valley.

  • Embark on the AM Sacred Valley Day Tour, discovering the charm of Pisac village, its lively artisans marketplace***, and the remarkable Ollantaytambo archaeological site.

  • PM Buffet lunch in a Sacred Valley restaurant.

  • PM Return to the hotel.

  • Overnight stay.

Day 03 Sacred Valley-Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu)

  • Breakfast at the hotel in Sacred Valley.

  • AM Select your adventure activity (rafting, climbing, zip-lining) or inquire in advance for tailored options to match your preferences.

  • Enjoy a complimentary box lunch with your adventure activity.

  • PM Transfer to Ollantaytambo train station and board the Expedition train or similar**** to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town).

  • The train ride takes approximately 90 minutes.

  • PM Warm welcome at Aguas Calientes train station and  assistance in reaching your preferred hotel**.

  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 04 Machu Picchu-Cusco

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • AM Receive assistance to board the shuttle bus to the Machu Picchu Inka citadel atop Machu Picchu Mountain.

  • AM Enjoy a two-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu Citadel, followed by free time for photography before returning to Aguas Calientes by shuttle bus.

  • Indulge in a buffet lunch at a fine restaurant in Aguas Calientes.

  • PM Take the train from Aguas Calientes to Poroy station, then transfer to your hotel in Cusco..

  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Cusco.

Day 05 Cusco

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Morning at leisure.

  • PM Guided city tour in the afternoon: the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Santo Domingo Church/Koricancha temple, and four surrounding archaeological sites (Sacsayhuaman, Q'enqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay).

  • Overnight.

Day 06 Cusco

  • Breakfast at the hotel.

  • Transfer to the Cusco airport at the most convenient time to board the scheduled flight*.
